What people in Brazil ask us
Short answers. The snapshot answers the rest for your site.
- Do we need a .com.br domain?
- No, but it tells people you sell in Brazil. Registro.br needs a Brazilian CPF or CNPJ, so foreign companies often register through a local representative, or use a /br/ folder on their main domain with hreflang pt-BR.
- Can European Portuguese pages work in Brazil?
- Not well. Spelling, words and tone differ, “celular”, not “telemóvel”. Pages are written by Brazilian linguists we hire for the project.
- Does Reclame Aqui affect our search results?
- It often ranks for brand searches, and buyers read it before they pay. We treat it as part of your brand results: answered complaints and a better score show up right next to your own site.
- Should product pages show instalments?
- Usually yes. Brazilian shoppers compare the monthly instalment and the Pix price. We add both to product pages and to structured data where it applies.
